Terriyaki Sauce

              This sauce that I learnt from a local Chef is very good and versatile.  See my notes at the bottom for its uses. Ophelia

             1/2 cup          Kikoman Sauce
             1/4 cup          Cooking Oil
                2 teasp        Ginger, finely chopped
                1 Tabsp       Mirin
                2 Tabsp       Sugar
                2 teasp         Mustard powder
                6 pips           Garlic, finely chopped

                              Mix all of these together & store in air tight bottle in the fridge when not in use. As there is no preservative, always be careful when handling same, use a dry spoon & put it immediately back in the fridge.

                                 (a)  whenever I mention teasp, tablesp, cups they are always cake measuring
                                        spoons and cake cups :) ;

                                  (b)  Marinade is good and can be used to marinade beef, chicken & pork & then stir
                                         fry with some vegetables.

                     Till my next post, xoxo, Ophelia
