Orange cup cakes

            I was lazying about when all of a sudden the Hubs informed me that we were going to attend the BEC Mass that evening.  I scrambled to my feet as it was customary that the BEC members bring something for pot luck & as it was nearly 5 pm, I thought the fastest that I could bake was cup cakes but I wanted it to be special so I thought that instead of using cold water, I would instead use fresh Orange juice & I was so happy that I had these dainty colored cup cake wrappers. 

             3 months ago I went shopping & saw these adorable colored cup cake wrappers & I couldn't resist the urge to buy some & I was waiting for an occasion when I could do some test baking on them & as I didn't want to smug the wrappers when pouring the batter, I took out my long "nose" measuring jug which I dubbed as Pinocchio which I bought 11 years ago when I saw the Chef using same & promptly asked her to get one for me & am I so glad I bought Pinocchio as I poured the batter gingerly into the wrappers & there was no spillage!!! 

              I always encourage my circle of young baking friends to always buy anything that they find irresistible & practical [Provided of course it didn't cost the earth as didn't want to be a bad influence :) ] as sometimes when you need same, you can't find same in the market.
